Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 19, 2026
This policy describes the Baftr app for iOS. The Baftr website uses Google Analytics 4 to measure website traffic. We also use advertising measurement to understand when visitors follow links to the App Store and the aggregate product-page visits, downloads, and sales associated with those links. Google may use first-party cookies or similar technology to measure ad interactions; Apple may use link information to provide App Store reports. Personalized advertising signals are disabled for this site. Google and Apple process information under their own privacy practices: Google’s Privacy Policy and Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Storage and Use
Baftr stores your photo sets in the app’s local library on your iPhone. A photo set may include images you capture or select; available capture dates, location, and heading information; and names, folders, and reminder settings you add.
If you allow location access, Baftr uses it to record photo points and show distance and direction. If you enable a nearby reminder, Baftr asks iOS to use the saved photo point to trigger a notification when you return.
Transmission and Sharing
Baftr does not send your photo sets, images, or location information to servers operated by Baftr. The app does not use advertising or analytics services.
When you export or share a comparison image or .baftr package, you choose the destination. The destination may store or share the copy under its own practices. iOS may include Baftr app data in iCloud or computer backups according to your device settings.
